Group Ride Events
Open Group Ride: This ride will take place on the Wesley Clover trails and the Greenbelt trails. The ride leader and volunteers will provide instruction and work on skill development through sectioning the trails as the group rides along. This ride will cater to intermediate level riders, however, beginner level riders are welcome to contact us so we can assess the skill and find a solution for participation.
Women's Beginner Level Group Ride: This ride will focus on introducing newcomers to the sport of mountain biking in a no-pressure and encouraging environment. The ride will utilize the MLC trail in Wesley Clover and will work on skill development by sectioning features on the trail. The group leaders will be providing instruction and assistance throughout the ride.
Women's Intermediate Level Group Ride: This ride will use the Wesley Clover and Greenbelt trails. It will focus less on instruction and more on having a fun group ride together. The group will section certain "difficult" features, but the aim is not to push anyone outside their comfort zone, it is simply to have fun.
If you are interested in participating in any of the group rides, you must register for a general admission ticket.
If you would like more information on the women's group rides please email lauryn.bakker@gmail.com.
