Fatbike Group Rides
A five-week free participation event that features weekly group rides across three ability groups, from beginner, intermediate, and advanced. The rides will be led by our experienced coaches and will feature skills clinics to help encourage weekly progression. As the events are designed to support the community we will be attending the fatbike festival at Harfang on January 25th and will be hosting a fatbike festival at Domaine Kanawe at the end of the five weeks on February 8.
*please note that while participation is free, the trail passes and festival admission required to access the trails is not; and fatbike rentals will be available on site.

Sunday January 12 2025 at 2pm, at Domaine Kanawe

Saturday January 25 2025: Harfang fatbike festival
Sunday February 2 2025 at 2pm, at Domaine Kanawe
Saturday February 8 2025: Domaine Kanawe fatbike festival, rides start at 11am.

Womens Group Ride
Designed to introduce women to the sport of mountain biking. This event will feature rides between two ability groups, our introductory and intermediate. The ride is led by our PMBIA certified female coaches, and focuses on skill building and introductory trail riding. No need to feel intimidated, this ride takes place in a welcoming atmosphere where everyone can learn, grow, and have fun together.

Girls Day Out &
Co-ed Trail Adventure
An initiative that allows school aged children to try out the sport of mountain biking.

Bakkers Trailblazers Learn to Race Clinics:
June 8th, 2025 and June 22nd, 2025.

These clinics are designed to encourage participation in our Trek Twilight Series Events. Our Clinics are free to attend and provide an intro to mountain bike riding at a competitive level while maintaining the fun aspect of the sport. We aim to instill participants with the confidence to attend at least one of our summer events, but encourage participants to attend even if they do not wish to race.

This event can be attended by all ages, but please let us know if you wish to attend so we may have an idea of number of participants.

The event will take place on our Domaine Kanawe location course.
